Photography

I’ve been reading some advice on A List Apart about the best ways to write for the living web. I think I must have been hiding under a rock for a while – the living web isn’t a phrase of which I’d heard, and I’m not sure that I like it that much. It sounds a bit too desperately organic for my liking, but no big deal.

Anyway. More importantly, the article does mention a number of useful suggestions on what to promote, and what to avoid.

What’s this got to do with photography?
Well, that’s simple. In section 4, Make good friends, the author talks about gifts to other writers and making friends, including photographs as gifts. Which reminds me that there are hundreds of photographs here on the anorak, not all of which are terrible, or feature my ugly face.

Perhaps you might look through them and think “that looks good” – and want to use them for something. A webpage? Desktop wallpaper (this one is nice, if a little tall, as is this, or this)? Whatever. Do me a favour and email me. Then I can say yes, and give you a hi-res version.
